Meals and Music Ministries, M&M for short, was founded seven years ago. The sole purpose of the ministry, at that time, was to provide a meal and a band on Sunday evenings. Our mission has changed. In addition to providing a meal and great music on Sunday evenings we provide three weekly Bible studies-each with food, service opportunities, and opportunities for fun and fellowship.

Meals and Music Ministries is supported by the Illinois Great Rivers conference of the United Methodist Church.  

Our mission, as Christians, is to go and make disciples. This mandate is free of denominational affiliation. Soo... "Whosoever will, let them come!!!"

Rick and Cindy Pierce are the co-founders of Meals and Music. They are members of St. John's United Methodist Church, have taught Sunday School there and started a college discussion group years ago at Sacred Grounds in downtown Edwardsville. Rick graduated from SIUE in 1980 -- long before the residence halls were built -- and is currently a student at Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis. They have two children. We are greatful for their vision and dedication to the work of Jesus Christ.
